Glowing & Growing is a physically interactive magazine created for like minded individuals who seek an escape from the digitally driven era we are all emerged in, specifically Gen Z. The publication transcends traditional print media by fostering interactive activities and articles for readers to connect and learn from. The content produced is centered around empowerment and self love, teaching and reminding those who forget that they are beautiful and worthy.

  • Through creating publications that stimulate self love, Glowing & Growing aim to build a brand that readers aspire to and rely on. They see the publication as their guru, guiding them on a new journey of self discovery. A community of readers will gradually build, leading to more than just a magazine brand. Instead it could turn into a wellness and lifestyle brand: organising trips, events and parties for the readers to participate in together.

  • Each issue is released quarterly - relating to the four seasons in the year. The content is written in a casual, friendly tone of voice in order to connect with the reader. The articles written are informative, inspiring whilst informal, generating purpose behind the content created. It aims to provide tips and tricks for those who seek advice or gain it without that original intention.

  • The unique value proposition is that Glowing & Growing create an escape from reality for the readers, a place for them to delve into a quick read and interact with the activities provided. The content is real, celebrating both success as well as realisation of failure. This will serve as a reminder to the readers that being disheartened is a common emotion.

Participants

The selection of participants for the magazine interviews were strategically chosen, as each individual represented a unique story that would resonate deeply with the readers of Glowing & Growing. Some interviewee’s were selected to discuss themes of self-love and body image, aiming to inspire and empower the readers on their journey of self discovery. Others were chosen to discuss more informal topics, fostering a sense of reliability and community through the tone of voice. Additionally, an interview with a new brand owner, embarking on a clothing business was included to offer entrepreneurial inspiration, as well as fashion related articles. By curating a diverse range of stories, the magazine aims to captivate its readers, building a sense of community and shared experiences amongst the readers.
